The Southwest has always had a tremendous appeal to me--the color of the sky, the brightness of the sun, the shadows created by the extreme sunlight. It is photogenic.

I spent several weeks in New Mexico. Although I love Arizona, New Mexico, with the exception of its drivers, reached into my soul. I understand its appeal to Georgia O'Keeffe. How can one be an artist and not want to capture the beauty of the place? So many artists have. Below are some of the numerous photographs I was compelled to take.
